Gauché is chief executive officer of the Muthobi Group, a foundation and investment group that grows its portfolio to sustainably support poor communities in South Africa through business. He previously served as chief operating officer of Mergon from 2010 to 2024 and continues to identify and implement investment opportunities in South Africa and Europe while serving on several local and international boards, including King Price Insurance, King Price Life, and Basileia (UK). A qualified chartered accountant, he holds a master's degree in international tax and completed an advanced management programme at Manchester Business School (UK).
